What’s your role at Monocl and what do you do?
I’m the Solutions Specialist at Monocl. Being awarded the “Mad Hatter” 2018 pretty much describes what I do. I am providing sales support with digital sales tools and life science related questions. I am also the Salesforce (CRM) administrator for our internal usage and driving the process improvements in the system to enhance operational efficiency. In my role as Solutions Specialist, I am currently also the project manager for the development of one of our new products that will be released during Q3 and driving the engagement and adoption at our biggest customer.
The engagement work includes driving adoption and implementation of our core product amongst the user base of the client by laying strategies and tactics for how the client can extract the best possible value from our product.
Why did you decide to work for Monocl?
I decided to join Monocl because of the team and product. I came in contact with the company through a classmate who did his thesis with the company and decided to apply for an open position at Monocl after hearing a lot of good things about the company.
After talking to Björn, Kristoffer, Malin and Mariana during the interview process, I felt confident that Monocl had a great team to support one another but most importantly, achieve the business goals. Studying Entrepreneurship (Master’s in Bioentrepreneurship) at Karolinska Institute also drove me towards the startup setting and knowing that I would have a chance to make a real impact in my daily work.
What do you find to be the best part about working with Monocl?
The colleagues, the inspiring atmosphere in the company and the willingness to go the extra mile for the team, regardless of whether or not it matches your role. Simply, everyone pitches in to make sure we´re the best in the market.
What is one thing your colleagues would be surprised to know about you?
I´ve competed for 16h in a swim competition, resulting in 25 600m which is equivalent to 512 50m laps in a pool.
What do you think Monocl provides that other companies don’t?
The potential to unlock personal capabilities through work-related challenges.
