What’s your role at Monocl and what do you do?
I joined Monocl mid 2016 as the Sales Director and the first employee on the commercial side. Together with Sara Turcinov, Sales Director, I traveled the world to build up the initial Monocl awareness in the pharma and scientific instrument industry. Today I work as the Sales Area Director for Europe and I am managing the European Sales Team as well as working with sales myself.
Why did you decide to work for Monocl?
Joining Monocl was one of the best choices I have ever made in my career. I have always enjoyed working at a smaller company and especially in an aggressive growth phase. Monocl felt like a natural choice for me. When I met the team and saw the product I was hooked.
What do you find to be the best part about working with Monocl?
Definitely the team and how engaged everyone is and always gives 100% as a minimum.
On top of that, we are a fast-paced company where we all have great possibilities to get our ideas implemented – as long as you can argue for why you want to do something and the value of it.
What is one thing your colleagues would be surprised to know about you?
I always cheat when I play board games and in competitions, except for when I was beating our Head of Business Development, Felix Jansson in go-cart. That was just pure skill and he hates when I remind him about this ;)

High dose of good energy and a daily loud laugh!
What do you think Monocl provides that other companies don’t?
At Monocl we always have the feeling of “now is the time when it happens”, when we take the next step. There is always something new happening whether it’s an addition to the platform, a new team member or another big client. A company journey like this is rare!
