Meet Monocl - Marshall Miele, Account Manager

Hi there! Marshall here. I joined the Monocl team in November 2018 as an account manager with our sales division. I am based out of the city of brotherly love – aka Philadelphia. I have been working as an account manager for the past 6 years and am really excited about what my journey with Monocl has in store!

Why did you decide to work for Monocl?

Great people, company culture and an excellent product that serves a purpose in advancing medicine. These are the three components I really value wherever I work. It’s evident that the people behind a company greatly contribute to the quality of the product.

What do you find to be the best part about working with Monocl?

Our customers and hearing how they use our product to spend more time out with their respective stakeholders. This is a great motivator to continue to work hard and work together towards building a product that will make a beneficial impact.

What is one thing your colleagues would be surprised to know about you?

I am a major foodie and love to try recreating things I eat out back at home. On any given weekend you can catch me trying a new restaurant. Recommendations welcomed!

What do you think makes a great work culture?

People acting with a purpose and great attitude are crucial to building a good work culture. Monocl has made this a key priority, which is something I noticed prior to joining the team. Although I work remotely from the majority of our team in Sweden, our daily contact through Slack has made it a smooth transition into the team.

What do you think Monocl provides that other companies don’t?

A product designed in a way that has not been done before and built from the ground up with close collaborations with our users.
