What’s your role at Monocl and what do you do?
I am a Sales Director at Monocl and one of the first two sales representatives that joined the company. I work with sales in Europe and the US. I travel a lot to ensure that pharma and biotech companies know about Monocl and how we can assist them.
Together with the customer success team, I work with a large number of customers to get their feedback. It’s so much fun seeing how we can bring efficiency to their processes and to assist smaller companies to grow as fast as we do.
Why did you decide to work for Monocl?
I met a young and ambitious team that was ready for a global launch of an amazing product. At that time, they had no salespeople and I was excited to be part of the challenge to raise the awareness about Monocl globally!
What do you find to be the best part about working with Monocl?
As a Sales Director I get to meet new, highly intelligent, individuals on a regular basis and provide our solution that enables them to be even more efficient than before. It is always intriguing to get to see a glimpse of how other companies work, and to get to meet people from different cultures.
What is one thing your colleagues would be surprised to know about you?
I am like an open book, so this one is quite hard for me…
I eat vegan. This is quite cumbersome for individuals responsible for ordering food and making reservations at restaurants so I hope they don’t read this. I do eat lamb once a year when I visit my home country Croatia. It just tastes too good!
What do you think Monocl provides that other companies don’t?
A flat organization where people are inspired to speak their mind, even their first week at work. Everyone at Monocl is part of the success and the team constitutes of ambitious overachievers, anyone in my team will take a call in the middle of the night if needed. We get a lot done together and we have a lot of fun!
